Pieces of Eight is a beautiful example of Ted Hood's classic Bristol 41.1 design. This center-cockpit model has been lovingly sailed, maintained, and enjoyed by her second owners since they bought her in the mid-1980's. Features such as electric self-tailing primary winches, roller-furling headstay, and in-boom furling mainsail make sailing Pieces of Eight easy for a short-handed crew. The 5KW generator allows for enjoyment of the dual-zone reverse cycle air conditioning while at anchor, not just when hooked to shore power. Her centerboard allows for a minimum draft of 4.5 feet to explore shallow anchorages, and the 10 foot draft with the board down provides beautiful upwind sailing performance. Just because you're a pirate 200 years too late doesn't mean you can't take home Pieces of Eight.
