This Bristol 40 is located in Marion Massachusetts.
Has been well cared for and is in very nice condition. Used primarily for family cruising in New England. It is a fast, comfortable, handsome and easily sailed yacht capable of safe offshore passage making. Sister ships have participated in the Marion-Bermuda race.
The Westerbeke 40 diesel was overhauled in 2012. Transmission was removed and inspected, front and rear seals replaced, Heat exchanger cleaned, exhaust elbow replaced, new flex plate,
oil analyzed, new filters etc. Very low hours since overhaul.
EVERY hose (sinks, drains etc) replaced in 2015.
Adler/Barbour refrigeration.
Comfortable seating. Sleeps 6. Cushions and lined curtains in good condition.
3 burner Shipmate propane stove with oven.
She comes with a nice Hood sail inventory consisting of a fully battened main, 110, 130, 150 genoas, and a cruising spinnaker.
4 Self tailing winches in the cockpit, Hood roller furling jib. spinnaker pole.
Instruments include radar,G.P.S.,V.H.F.,and Data Marine.
For comfort in inclement weather and the hot sun, there is a dodger and bimini.
Bottom has been Interprotect epoxy coated. Original gel coat is immaculate.
Salt water wash-down and electric windlass. Two anchors with chain/rope rodes.
