On 22 September 2009 I visited the MASTER PIECE and its owner in Gloucester and was pleasantly surprised at the condition of this boat! Not that I believed it wasn't being well cared for, but the boat was better than the photos..... This boat is in not quite "Palm Beach Condition" but it is certainly a "9" on any scale. It is very obvious that this boat has been exceedingly well cared for and reasonably operated by its owner, but the quality of the boat really shines....I went through the boat and was astounded by the lack of any loose fittings, locker drawers, gaps in joinery or any indication that the boat lacked quality in any way! I have updated many of the photos as indicated by those dated 9/22/09. The MASTER PIECE will be hauled about the 15 of November, if the weather is comfortable "fish able" it will stay in the water until the weather is really poor. The boat however is still very "viewable" out of the water and "shrink-wrapped" with a door. Launching generally is in May, when the weather is nice. Easy to get to, less than an hour from Boston.
