Resale Value: Boston Whalers tend to hold their value well, given their respected reputation within the boating community.
Cons
Space Limitations: The 17-foot length may limit the amount of storage and passenger space available compared to larger boats, making it less ideal for bigger groups or extensive gear.
Older Technology: Being a classic model, some features may not include modern advancements found in newer boats, such as advanced navigation systems or amenities.
Fuel Efficiency: Depending on the motor used, older engines may not be as fuel-efficient as newer models, which could lead to higher operational costs over time.
Maintenance Needs: Like any vintage boat, an older Nauset may require more frequent maintenance or repairs due to aging parts and materials.
