This flagship model complements the recently redesigned 220 and 250 Dauntless boats, delivering exceptional capability for inshore and offshore fishing, cruising, water sports, and family relaxation. Equipped with advanced technology such as Simrad displays, digital switching, and joystick piloting, the 280 Dauntless offers a modern and highly functional boating experience. Multiple Mercury outboard engine packages are available, designed to provide quiet, efficient, and rapid transit to your destination.
Exterior Design and Deck Layout
The 280 Dauntless features a thoughtfully designed exterior with large swim platforms on both sides of the stern, facilitating easy boarding from the water or dock. A boarding ladder with a handle enhances reentry convenience. The stern deck includes a spacious casting platform, a 19-gallon livewell on the port side, and a flip-up bench seat for two passengers. Freshwater and raw water washdowns are positioned on opposite sides, accompanied by cup holders for added convenience. Underneath the bench seat lies a large storage compartment, while mechanical access to the bilge is provided by a fold-up bottom compartment that reveals batteries, pumps, and other serviceable components.
