The 28 is built on an easy-riding deep-V hull with a relatively wide beam, and like all Boston Whalers, her foam-filled hull construction insures that she'll be unsinkable even when fully swamped.
There's a lot of fishing space in the cockpit thanks to a generous beam, and wide walkways provide easy passage to the bow with its bench seat, anchor locker, and bow pulpit. At the helm, adjustable padded seats double as leaning-post bolsters.
Fishing amenities include a 30-gallon above deck recirculating livewell, two in-deck fish boxes, nine flush-mounted rod holders, bait-prep station with two sinks, tackle drawers, fresh and raw-water wash-downs, and a transom door.
In the cabin there's an enclosed head, and a filler converts the twin berths into a large double.
