Designed with input from customers, this model integrates smart amenities that cater to a wide range of activities including fishing, water sports, and cruising. The boat balances versatility and functionality, making it suitable for both family outings and serious offshore excursions.
Exterior Design and Cockpit Features
Starting at the stern, the 220 Dauntless features a self-bailing cockpit with large drains positioned under the aft seats that discharge directly overboard, avoiding bilge accumulation. The cockpit seating includes flip-up jump seats with ergonomic padding, accompanied by beverage holders and three flush-mounted rod holders, part of a total of eleven on board. When folded down, these seats create a flush casting deck free of trip hazards. The test boat was equipped with an optional power pole mounted on the port stern. The decks remain flush out to the reboarding platforms, with a starboard hatch providing access to the reboarding ladder, designed to angle away from the outboard motor’s sharp edges.
