The Boston Whaler 220 Dauntless represents the latest evolution in a longstanding and popular lineup from the builder. Designed with input from customers, this model integrates smart amenities that cater to a wide range of activities including fishing, water sports, and cruising. Exterior Design and Cockpit Features
Starting at the stern, the 220 Dauntless features a self-bailing cockpit with large drains positioned under the aft seats that discharge directly overboard, avoiding bilge accumulation. The cockpit seating includes flip-up jump seats with ergonomic padding, accompanied by beverage holders and three flush-mounted rod holders, part of a total of eleven on board. When folded down, these seats create a flush casting deck free of trip hazards. The test boat was equipped with an optional power pole mounted on the port stern.
