This 38 Blackfin was previously owned by George Barber, one of the wealthiest land owners in the state of Alabama, and therefore has been updated with an open check book.
In recent years the following items have been replaced or upgraded:
- Main engines rebuilt by Saunders Yachtworks (11/2005)
- New tower (2010)
- Fischer Panda 12Mini diesel generator 449 hours (2012)
- Garmin electronics package installed in 2012: VHF 200, GHC 10 Autopilot, X-HD Open Array Radar, GPS Map 7215, GPSMap 7212, and a GPSMap 7610xsv in Tower.
- Two new AC units for helm deck (2012)
- Helm deck enclosure (2012)
