1970 Bertram Bahia-Mar! Twin 350 HP Crusaders! Ready for the water!
Bertram boats are known for their rugged hulls and great design. This 31-footer has been taken care of and updated since her first launch 55 years ago.
This is a great dayboat, with plenty of fishing capabilities. The boat comes with outriggers, rod holders on the gunnels and rocket launchers on the radar arch.
At first glance you will notice the massive cockpit covered with light grey SeaDek. An extensive refit was done to it. The deck has been replaced with lightweight Coosa board. At that time the fuel tank was replaced with a 220-gallon aluminum tank. The boat has been upgraded with larger rudders, for improved maneuverability. The seller also has a spare set of 4 blade 18 x 18 props.
During its three-owner life, electrical systems have been replaced. The boat had hydraulic steering updated and recently replaced Morse controls. Switches and gauges are functional and basic. The boat does not have any working navigational, radar or sonar. The boat does have a working VHF radio. For convenience a windlass has been installed.
The boat has been kept simple. There is no freshwater pump, raw water pump, live well, fish boxes and pump out head system.
The cabin is in original condition. There is room for an overnight stay or to stow gear. There is a head compartment with a porta-potty.
The boat is power by two Crusader engines. The seller states that they are in good operational condition and estimated the hours to be approximately 1000.
