A rare opportunity to purchase one of the most iconic boats ever produced. The Bold, Beautiful classic Motor Yacht lines and style in one of the most recognizable yachts ever built. The Bertram 42 Motor Yacht speaks the language of true boaters throughout the entire vessel. The highly successful 42 is one of the few Deep-V Motor Yachts ever produced. Its hull can handle sea conditions that keep other yachts her size in port. This is rare diesel-powered model. MB II is very clean and well cared for by its long-time owner.
It is Classic Motor Yacht with aft deck, bow seating and sun cushions. The aft deck is outfitted with a Uline beverage refrigerator for easy access. It is also outfitted with a mix of custom Strataglass and Isinglass panels allowing for a clear water view. The aft deck and exterior are accented with teak trim coordinating with rich teak walls and flooring within the living spaces.
The primary helm seat is a custom teak design including a teak 'flip up' table with a beech inlaid compass rose. The spacious Flying Bridge has a fully equipped second helm and has seating for 6, outfitted with a Bimini.
The renovated main berth is elegantly finished in beech and teak flooring as well as beech paneling and a custom wall unit. The main berth has two double beds allowing guests and/or larger families to stay aboard. There is a coordinating beech ensuite with Corian vanity top and full shower with a custom glass enclosure. The forward V Berth can be set up as two single beds or a custom form king size bed. It has adjustable parts to arrange it in either configuration.
The Salon is trimmed with half-wall teak paneling and full window surround. The salon is tastefully decorated with custom carpet, curtains and upholstery to highlight the original Bertram teak woodwork. The headliner and lighting on the aft deck and throughout has been updated with custom design and fabric.
For Anchoring the vessel is outfitted with a windlass and a Stainless-Steel Delta anchor. Exterior fittings have been meticulously maintained and re-chromed as necessary. This vessel is equipped with a Viking Life Raft on the bow and also equipped with a Mar-Quipt gangway and a gunwale hook ladder.
