A well kept 33 Flybridge, originally named "Water Witch", with lots of updates and upgrades; namely, a pair of brand new 315 Yanmars installed new in 2007, along with a new diesel generator. Fully documented in the 2009 issue of Professional Boatbuilder Magazine in the January, 2009 edition, the repower cost alone was over $70,000.
Currently with only a little over 400 hours on these motors, enhanced fuel economy (20 knot cruise has been measured at a miserly 16 gph) is the truly the highlight of this Bertram. Wide open throttle is almost 27 knots.
Updated electronics for both upper and lower stations, a full enclosure, aft awning (removable), and new countertops, carpet, cabin finishes, major electrical and mechanical systems, that have also been replaced; like reverse cycle AC/Heat and a Vacu-flush head system, only further enhance this classic Sportfish.
