1973 31 Bertram Flybridge - This boat has been owned by the same captain/owner for approximately 35 years and has raised many billfish and tuna on her decks. She has never been restored but has always been maintained and upgraded / updated throughout the years. Twin 454 MerCruiser Horizons were installed in 2000 and have approximately 2,200 hrs on them (Mercury scanner / computer comes with the boat). Dripless packings done in 2020. Risers were replaced approx three years ago. All running gear (21/22 props w/ 1.5 inch shafts), cables, shifters, etc were all replaced in 2000 when the engines were done. Bulkhead and stringer work done as needed over the years. ZF Hurth Transmissions.
Bottom was soda blasted 8 years ago and redone (always used Micron 66).
The fuel tanks (230 gallon center and twin 28 gallon wing tanks) were replaced in 2010 with aluminum tanks that were primed and coated. When the tanks were done, so were any relevant stringers or bulkheads that needed to be replaced or repaired at that time including the bulkhead by the cabin step / door. Simrad autopilot interfaces with newer NSS3009 (approx 1 year old); Hook 7 depthfinder / GPS plotter (approx 5 years old) ; ICOM 100 and ICOM 120 VHFs ; Older Raytheon radar ; new stereo 3 years ago.
Aft bulkhead frammica replaced 1 year ago. Newer interior frammica replaced within the last 8 years; refrigerator and toilet replaced 3 years ago; FW tank holds approx 30 gallons ; FW pump approx 4 years old ; Pipewelders tower; canvas / eisenglass approx 7 years old ; 22' Lee double spreader outriggers ; 600 ft anchor line with 15 ft chain and MUCH MORE!
Boat comes with a removable full Murray Brothers offshore fighting chair (both rocket launcher and ladder back) along with livewell base mount.
New batteries in 2023 and this boat is offshore rigged and ready to go!
