2019 Bottom Paint

From the Seller:

"In case you havenââ?¬â?¢t noticed, humans are going a little crazy these days. They are also great at spreading nasty viruses.  ââ?¬Å?Unsubscribeââ?¬ï¿½ (appropriately named)  is rigged to get as far away from humans as possible...even for a little while.

ââ?¬Å?Unsubscribeââ?¬ï¿½ is manicured, primped, and ready to meet her new owners. She has safely charioted my family to remote islands and destinations well off the beaten path. She protects us from gnarly, unforgiving seas. I, in turn,  protect her.

She is meticulously maintained. The engine fires up immediately and will come with way too many spare parts to list here.

Her keel is deep and stable. She prefers open water even when the conditions are less than ideal. If youââ?¬â?¢re planning to chug the ICW from dock to dock, buy a trawler. Unsubscribe is setup for freedom.

Unsubscribe is also incredibly comfortable in whatever remote harbor you find your self in. She has 3 berths and 2 heads. She has 2 AC units that can be powered from suitcase generators (happy to include). This was a godsend while gunkholing in the Bahamas last summer.

Her 200w solar array (installed in 2019) is more than enough power to keep the 2 4D AGM batteries  (new in 2020) topped up. They keep the autopilot powered all day long with no need to fire up the engine to get a charge.

Shes got 2 coats of Pettit Trinidad Pro bottom paint (2019). If youre not already aware, this bottom paint is as good as it gets and priced accordingly. You should have no need to repaint for many years to come.

She has brand new electronics (installed in 2020) including Raymarine Axiom 12 Chartplotter with map packs subscription. New Raymarine wind instruments and depth sounder. New Raymarine Multifunction Display head units and autopilot display.

ââ?¬Å?Unsubscribeââ?¬ï¿½ is ready and waiting for her next adventure. She needs nothing but you, the people you care about, and your provisions."

Pros

Spacious and Comfortable Interior: The Oceanis 40 offers a well-designed layout with ample natural light, featuring two or three cabins and a roomy saloon, making it ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard use.

Solid Build Quality: Built by Beneteau, the boat features a sturdy fiberglass hull and quality craftsmanship, ensuring durability and reliability on the water.

Good Sailing Performance: With a modern hull design and balanced sail plan, the Oceanis 40 delivers stable and responsive handling, suitable for both coastal cruising and longer passages.

Well-Equipped Deck Layout: The cockpit is spacious and ergonomically designed, with practical features like twin wheels and ample seating for comfort and safety.

Cons

Moderate Draft: Depending on the keel option, the draft may limit access to very shallow anchorages or marinas.

Engine Power: The standard engine may be considered underpowered by some, especially in challenging conditions or when motoring against strong currents.

Limited Storage: While the interior is spacious, some owners find storage space to be somewhat limited for long-term cruising gear.

Price Point: As a relatively modern and well-equipped cruiser, the Oceanis 40 can be priced higher than some comparable models on the used market.

Weight: The boat’s moderate displacement means it may not accelerate as quickly as lighter performance-oriented sailboats.
