Beneteau Oceanis 37 was the first of the 'new generation' of yachts that maximized performance by extending the water line through flattening the under water profile and carrying the beam aft. This led to increased interior volume and a much more spacious cockpit.
Second Wind has spent her life on the lower Chesapeake Bay, so has had relatively low use. This is a 2 cabin, 1 head vessel and is ideal as a coastal cruiser or Bahamas boat, with comfortable interior and spacious cockpit. Wide side decks and lines led aft allow ease of movement for sail and line handling; large cockpit and walk through transom with swim platform, allow comfort under way and easy access to and from the water.
Second Wind has the following equipment:
- Yanmar 3YM30 - 29HP w/ 542 hours
- Flexofold Prop
- Harken Electric Secondary Winch (port cabin top)
- Neil Pryde Inmast Furling Mainsail (2022)

- Corian Counter tops
