The Beneteau 281 is a great size boat for coastal cruising and lake sailing. The ample sized cockpit holds 8 adults and has the popular stern rails seats! The reliable Yanmar diesel pushes it along at 5-6 knots for easy motoring in and out of the dock or for when the wind dies. Below decks theres a large v berth which converts back to table seating. A nav station, galley with stove and refrigerator/ice box , large head with sink/hand held shower and a huge aft berth. The engine is located under the companionway steps for easy access and maintenance. This unit has the stack pack option for up down mainsail into a sail cover/lazy jack system. The owners have had their time with it but are not sailing it enough with other commitments on the table. Located at RCR Buffalo with US ownership. Nice boat for a young family to get started on safely without a huge expense.
