The Biggest Pros and Cons

Pros

Spacious Interior: The 4788 features a generous layout with plenty of room for entertaining guests and comfortable living. Its two staterooms and two heads provide ample accommodation for family or friends.

Pilot House Design: The elevated pilot house offers excellent visibility while cruising, enhancing safety and navigation. The interior helm allows for comfortable navigation in various weather conditions.

Versatile Outdoor Spaces: The yacht comes equipped with ample outdoor deck space, including a flybridge and aft cockpit, ideal for enjoying the water, sunbathing, or hosting gatherings.

Solid Build Quality: Bayliner is known for its robust construction, and the 4788 is no exception. Its fiberglass hull is designed for durability and stability.

Twin Engine Configuration: Powered by twin diesel engines, the 4788 provides reliable performance and maneuverability, making it suitable for both cruising and long-distance voyages.

Functional Galley: The full-size galley is well-equipped for meal preparation, featuring essential appliances and plenty of storage, making it perfect for extended trips.

Cons

Age Considerations: Being a 1995 model, some systems or features may require updates or renovations to ensure optimal performance and comfort. Potential buyers should assess the condition thoroughly.

Fuel Efficiency: The twin diesel engines, while providing power, might not be the most fuel-efficient option, especially for those looking to save on operational costs.

Maintenance Requirements: As with any older vessel, maintenance can be a consideration. Parts may need replacing or upgrading due to age, which can add to ownership costs.

Weight and Stability: While the solid build provides stability, it also results in a heavier vessel that may require more power to navigate in certain conditions than lighter, more modern alternatives.

Limited Technology: The technology and electronics may feel dated compared to newer models, which could lack modern amenities found in more current motoryachts.
