"MY SHELL" - 1996 Bayliner 3988 Flybridge
"My Shell" is a clean, maintained 3988 Bayliner Flybridge that is being offered for sale for the first time since the current owners purchased her new in 1996. The vessel is powered with twin 6 cylinder 250 HP Hino diesel motors with 2,107 original hours on them. The vessel has a diesel 8.0 KW Westerbeke generator with 258 hours. "My Shell" has a roomy upper helm station with good seating, the bridge has a complete canvas enclosure that is in good condition, and also has a lower inside helm station. The interior is spacious with a raised dinette on the port side, with the galley on the opposite side of the vessel. "My Shell" offers two staterooms; the salon sofa also converts into a sleeper. There are two heads and two berths. The master stateroom has a queen inline bed. A unique feature about "My Shell" is a sit down bathtub in the master bathroom.
Over the years the owner has updated the salon sole with a PVC product that imitates Teak and Holly and tiled the countertops in the galley, along with reupholstering the L-Shaped salon sofa, giving the interior a more up-to-date, modern finish. Two new 17,000 BTU AC units were installed in October 2020. The 3988 also comes with separate built-in heaters that were installed during the build from the factory.
"My Shell" has a deep cockpit with cockpit access though a cockpit engine room door, a swim platform and cockpit sunshade, access to the generator and bilge through the cockpit sole. "My Shell" is being sold with a 9� Avon hard bottom inflatable powered by a 6 HP Yamaha outboard and a portable dive compressor.
