Belgica is a fresh water only Bayfield 36C being offered by her owner of the last 2 years. She is a very comfortable cruising cutter with a large interior for her hull length. The cutter rig is efficient and easy to handle for the cruising couple. The mainsail, staysail, and yankee are all made by Mack Sails in the last 5years. She also features reliable Yanmar diesel power. Please note, the overall length of this vessel including bowsprit is 41ft 3 inches.
The spacious forward cabin has great ventilation with a hatch above and two opening ports. The "pullman" style berth is to port and will sleep two. There is a dressing seat, hanging locker and ample storage on the starboard side. Aft of the forward cabin bulkhead and to port is the over sized head compartment with a "sit shower/tub", vanity, SS sink with Hot and Cold water, two opening port lights and a manual flush marine head. To starboard is a large hanging locker and the stand up navigation station. The main saloon consists of a fixed mounted center line drop leaf table with storage, L-shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth and a starboard side settee. The galley is aft and to starboard and feature a deep single stainless steel sink, two burner gimbaled alcohol stove with oven, large ice box with 12 volt refrigeration. The galley counter surface features cut out deep storage compartments and there are outboard storage cabinets as well. Aft and to port is the enclosed aft cabin that has a single berth (two in a pinch) and good storage as well. The interior has teak and holly flooring and a solid fuel bulkhead mounted stainless steel fireplace/stove/heater.
