Aumakua is a beautifully maintained 2014 Bavaria 37 Cruiser with a transferable slip in Oceanside. Designed by Farr Yacht Design and built in Germany, she offers the accommodation you'd expect in a 40-footer: two large cabins, a bright, open saloon and galley, and interior headroom for sailors up to 6'4". Roller furling main and headsail make her simple to sail shorthanded, and her bulbed fin keel (standard draft option, 6.4' draft) delivers stability and upwind performance. The cockpit features dual helms, full covers, a retractable bimini, a large table with comfortable seating, and a large drop-down transom swim platform for easy water access at anchor. Her meticulous current owner has upgraded and maintained her continuously, including a new rudder assembly (2026), rebuilt dodger with all new canvas and bimini (2025), bottom paint (2024), all new Groco thru-hulls, plus new running rigging, service battery bank, refrigeration, autopilot motor, and 100' of anchor chain (2022). This is the two-cabin layout, with plenty of overhead hatches and ports creating a nice bright and airy interior. Starting at the bow you have a large V-berth with hanging lockers and a large overhead hatch. The salon is very spacious with a port settee and an L shaped starboard settee with centerline table. The navigation station is to port, directly across to starboard is the galley followed by access door to aft cabin with large double berth. The head is located just aft of the nav station.
