The Panther is a marvel in any harbor. This boat has seen little use and nominal care in recent years. A new owner would want to upgrade the navigational electronics, overhaul or replace some of the systems, and aesthetically restore the boat to its full magnificence. The engine room in particular requires some attention to remove the evidence of an electrical fire that preceded the current owner. Engine room systems are operational.
Three separate heads, each with a bidet and enclosed shower. The master head and one of the guest heads include saunas. Granite countertops. Crew quarters in bow (including an additional head and shower) is accessed from foredeck. Refrigerator and freezer in cockpit.
4 sleeping berths with 2 doubles and 2 singles in 4 cabin(s) 4 burner electric Stove.
Propulsion is by Arneson surface drives which are like inboards but coming out of the transom and steerable and trimmable. An extra set of Rolla surface-piercing propellers is stored aboard. New ones cost $35k each. There are two Kohler 15 kw generators. One runs and drives the hydraulic pump for the windlass and bow thruster. The other one has a good motor but needs the generator rebuilt. The MTU diesels have been regularly serviced and are in good mechanical condition, with approximately 1200 hours. They were easily started recently. Spares include an extra rebuilt turbocharger.
