Like her predecessors in the Azimut fleet, the 46 is built on a deep-V hull with propeller tunnels to reduce draft. Her two stateroom floorplan is notable for its comfort and meticulous workmanship. The salon is an ultra-stylish entertaining area surrounded by vast amounts of window space and beautiful high gloss cherry woodwork. Typical of European yachts, the galley is set below the salon level where it's hidden from view. The forward stateroom is particularly appealing with its walk-in wardrobe and opening windows (rather than portlights). A pair of sliding glass doors opens to the cockpit where molded steps ascend to the spacious, low-profile flybridge. Additional features include circular flybridge settees, a huge swim platform, anchor-wash system, and bow thruster.
Lady Nicolas is captain maintained and has received top notch service. Both engines and gen serviced in 2/18, including new raw water pumps, and belts. New a/c raw water pump and fresh water pumps in 10/17. A/C system flushed every 6 months. 9/17 bottom was sand blasted, epoxied, primed, and 3 coats of fresh paint, 4 on the water line!
