Atlas Boat Works builds this traditional DownEast hull of the type used by Maine Lobstermen for decades. Known for their seaworthy ride in all weather this hull design has proven to be a safe economical easily driven hull.
This Atlas Acadia 32 features 2023 Awlgripped topsides, 2021 Canvas and Eisenglas, bow thruster, , air conditioning, generator.
Comfortable accommodations for the crew include a large centerline berth forward with a head and a fully enclosed stall shower with opening port and hatch. The galley up has a cooktop, sink and refrigerator for convenient entertaining and weekend trips.
She's powered by a Yanmar 315 hp engine with 4500 hours. The Acadia 32 offers added maneuverability in tight spaces thanks to the bow thruster. Cruising speed is a quick 15 knots at 7 gph with the ability to turn 21 knots at maximum power.
Large centerline berth forward followed by a settee aft to port, the large head aft to starboard with large stall shower, vanity w/ sink and hot and cold pressure water and Vacuflush toilet. (The head and shower on Finnestera comparable to those found on much larger vessels) three steps up to the pilothouse has the helm to starboard followed by the galley with Dometic AC/DC refrigerator, Two burner Origo electric stove, and Magic Chef Microwave. There is a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water. Opposite the galley is a large settee with dining table. All windows have interior canvas privacy curtain (2021). White Vinyl headliner throughout. Through cabin door and down a step is the cockpit which has a canvas Bimini top with full Eisenglas enclosure (new 2021). There is a cockpit shower aft next to the transom door which leads to the swim platform and boarding ladder. Cockpit and cabin soles are covered in Faux teak. !6000 btu reverse cycle AC unit in forward cabin built in under settee. keeps things cool below. Sliding Pilothouse windows and two overhead hatches provide additional ventilation when underway.
