We developed our rugged and versatile ASCEND® 12R Sport for recreational kayakers who want a premier kayak capable of covering a wide range of water conditions. The 12R Sport has an efficient hull design with a round hull and chine for exceptional stability and tracking. This makes it easy to paddle and capable of tracking true, yet easy to turn. The open deck configuration allows plenty of space for a cooler or a drybag.
Our famous removable seating system has 4-point adjustment for multiple support options, and serves up closed-cell foam for all-day comfort. Multiple molded footwells support different-sized paddlers. Molded-in storage trays and drink holders offer convenient access for drinks and various types of gear, while molded-in paddle cradles allow temporary placement of handles.
There's weathertight deck plate storage to secure small items such as your wallet and keys. Plus the large stern tankwell lets you bring everything you need. And molded handles provide easy portage, completing this high-performance kayak as an all-around performer you'll appreciate with every trip on the water.
