The new Arcona 435 continues to uphold Arcona’s strong heritage of innovation and design excellence, using high quality materials and best workmanship. The Arcona 435 is a fast, modern and easy-to-manage 43 foot performance cruiser. Launched by Arcona Yachts in 2018 and winner of the European Yacht of the Year 2019, she quickly became a favorite in the performance racer-cruiser sector.

Stefan Qviberg, the designer, has designed a masterpiece that appeals to owners who wants both comfort for long passages and sailing performance for racing. Stefan explains, “The 435 has an efficient sail design, a low weight and the characteristic stability exhibited in every Arcona yacht. The 435 is modern inside and out.”

The Arcona 435 epitomizes the characteristics of a very comfortable fast family cruiser and a racing yacht, without making any compromises. She is both safe and stable with laminated bulkheads and Arcona’s galvanized steel girder. She is a joy to sail as she responds quickly to trim input and doesn’t weigh more than 8900kg. The Arcona 435 can also be specified with carbon hull, deck and spars which reduces her weight further. Arcona 435 has a slightly larger sail area than previous models to give optimized upwind performance.

BRAND NEW YANMAR DIESEL ENGINE AND SAILDRIVE

This Arcona 435 has just had a new Yanmar Diesel engine installed with a new Sail-drive unit.  Originally delivered to her new owner with electric propulsion, a demand for a longer cruising range made the switch to diesel logical.  This 45 HP diesel engine is coupled to a SD60-5 Sail Drive unit with two-blade Gori folding propeller.  Complete with new engine space installation, fuel lines, filters and fuel tank, LYNDA SUE is heading back to her home port of Chicago and ready to cruise!

This Arcona 435 has a unique Silicone-based extra slippery bottom paint that lasts 3-5 years; is nearly 10% faster than most annually-applied ablative bottom paints and does not release toxins into our oceans and lakes.

The Arcona 435 also utilizes 4 large photovoltaic solar panels on her cabin top to keep the batteries topped off when at the dock or mooring.

"Lynda Sue" has a three-cabin/two head arrangement so hard to find in a 43' vessel.  The two guest cabins are located aft and to port and starboard of the companionway.  Each offers a 2-person berth with generous cabinetry and cabin sole space.  Both cabins share the day head/shower located to starboard just aft of the well equipped Nav station/desk.

The main cabin is located forward and offers a large two-person berth, dressing seat, cabinetry and private access to the dedicated master cabin head/shower.  

The main salon has a u-shaped settee to port and an additional settee to starboard; both having dining access to the off-set dining table with large drop leaf table.  There is generous locker/cabinet space for storage to port and starboard as well as storage behind the settee seatbacks.

The full galley is located to port of the companionway, just forward of the port guest cabin.  Fully equipped, the galley includes propane stove/oven, large top opening refrigeration by Isotherm, stainless steel sink and additional front-loading refrig/freezer w/ice maker.  Storage lockers outboard provide space for dishes, glasses and more.

Her unique interior lighting is all LED and operates via sensors that turn on/off with a slight tap of the recessed dime-size disk.  USB Charging ports located in all cabins. The interior is very bright, modern and elegant.  Large port lights in her cabin sides allow great natural light, while tinted glass provides privacy from the outside.  Several opening hatches on deck provide great airflow throughout the boat.
