The hull design incorporates fully integrated bulbs that enhance running efficiency, complemented by spray rails that effectively keep the boat dry during operation.

Exterior Design and Features

The Aquila 54's exterior is thoughtfully engineered, particularly at the stern where the tender launching system stands out. Instead of traditional davits, a crane extends from the hardtop's trailing edge to lower the tender, which is itself a catamaran rib designed by Aquila. The lowering platform doubles as a functional extension of the stern, allowing the tender to be securely tied up. Wide steps measuring 42 inches in width and 12 inches in height provide comfortable seating, while a cleverly designed reboarding ladder slides out and deploys three steps extending 30 inches deep, surpassing ABYC standards. This endurance enables extended passages such as from Fort Lauderdale to the British Virgin Islands without refueling.
