MOONSTONE is a Limited Edition Amels 200 that was delivered in 2021. With exterior design by Tim Heywood, custom interior design by the Italian design studio Luxury Projects, and naval architecture by Damen Yachting, not a detail was spared in creating the second of the Amels 200 design.
Since her delivery, MOONSTONE has received several accolades. At the 2022 International Yacht & Aviation Awards she won in the following categories: Global Project Award, Lighting Scheme, Bathroom, and Bespoke Cabinetry / Installation. She was also a nominee in the 2022 World Superyacht Awards for Displacement Motor Yachts, 1,000GT - 1,499GT.
MOONSTONE's owner's suite stretches full-beam on the main deck and has a balcony that opens off the starboard lounge area and also includes an office space and en suite adorned in Mongolian marble. The VIP cabin can be found on bridge deck with the remaining four guest cabins on the lower deck, all with their own en suite.
On the sun deck you can find the gym, massage room, jacuzzi, and a bar. Below on the bridge deck you can find an al fresco dining option as well as the bridge deck salon. The main deck offers space to lounge on the aft deck or inside of the salon. Down on the lower deck is the chic beach club space which includes a sauna, steam room, and waterfront lounging.
MOONSTONE features a unique hybrid power system that uses batteries in place of a second generator to power the house systems, which in turn saves on fuel and keeps engine hours lower while reducing unnecessary wear and tear. This also makes MOONSTONE more eco-friendly as she will have significantly less CO2 emissions than a yacht without this hybrid system. MOONSTONE features two 12V 4000 MTU engines and has a range of 4,500nm at her cruising speed of 13 knots.
Perfect for the adventurous traveler, MOONSTONE features a WASSP multi beam sonar system. This system produces high-resolution bathymetric scanning and allows the crew to view a live 2D and 3D map of the ocean floor, reducing any risks or guesswork in under charted or unfamiliar waters.
