Pros
Speed and Performance: The trimaran design offers excellent stability and impressive speed, especially in upwind conditions, making it a thrilling sail for enthusiasts.
Stability: With its three-hull configuration, the CIGALE 14 provides superior stability compared to monohulls, reducing heeling and enhancing safety.

Build Quality: Known for solid construction and durable materials, the 2004 model maintains good integrity even after years of use.
Ease of Handling: Designed for short-handed sailing, it features user-friendly rigging and sail controls.
Shallow Draft: The trimaran’s shallow draft allows access to coastal areas and anchorages that deeper keel boats cannot reach.
Cons
Trailerability: While relatively trailerable for a trimaran, its size and beam may still require a specialized trailer and towing vehicle.
Storage Space: While comfortable, storage can be more limited compared to larger monohulls of similar length.
Complexity: The trimaran rig and folding amas add some complexity in maintenance and sail handling compared to simpler monohulls.
Initial Cost and Maintenance: Generally, trimarans like the CIGALE 14 can have higher initial purchase prices and maintenance costs due to their specialized design.
