Built in aluminum, with a draft (retractable keel) of 4 ââ?¬â?? 10 feet, ââ?¬Å?Spicaââ?¬ï¿½ is absolutely comparable to a catamaran´s draft with all the advantages a monohull can present. Fully appropriate for shallow harbors and anchorages or dry out safe on a sheltered beach at low tide. The hull is optimized for performance and safety. Lightweight aluminum (16 tons) and a seaworthy shaped hull grants fast average speeds. 6 mm (deck) to 10 mm (bottom) thick aluminum, 2 welded watertight bulkheads front and aft and absolutely solid rudder and keel mounts provide 100 % safety on open waters.
