When the power is cut and lines are dropped, you'll feel a light bobbing motion as opposed to the snap roll common with deep-v hulls. The full bow, along with 3-piece construction provides for a lot of space. Although she is nearly a 50 mph boat, 26-36 mph is her most economical range. Bringing her up on plane only takes 18 mph. When conditions are rough, holding plane at low speed is comfortable, and not possible on most outboard boats. At either speed, the fine entry is slicing through the steep stuff while the round bilges aft yield to the impact of the water. She tracks well too.
