This modified-V hull with a wide beam affords a comfortable ride. The Albin 28 is very comfortable weekender and is very capable of short or long-range cruising or fishing. Although there are many of these on the East Coast, there are not a lot of these Albin 28TE's for sale on the West Coast. The dinette converts to a spacious berth for two and the quarter berth is the size of a double bed. Cabin amenities include a kitchen and enclosed head with shower.
This vessel has a full set of Ray Marine electronics. The single 300hp Yanmar diesel starts immediately, runs great and is regularly maintained (see list of upgrades at bottom of advertisement). The full functioning autopilot allows you to program a course and let the vessel do the work.
The fabricated aluminum Bimini top does away with the need to traditional bows needed to support this structure. The Bimini top flips up for more clearance during fishing. Comfortable deck chairs and shade screens provide additional seating and comfort on the aft deck. A hot/cold handheld freshwater hose on the aft transom allows for a quick rinse after you swim.
Down below enjoy 6'+ standing headroom in the cabin as well as the head. Cruise along at 15-17Knts or open her up and move along as 20-22Knts.
