The Albin 28 Tournament Express is a sturdy fishboat/family cruiser with a practical deck layout, a skeg-protected rudder and cabin accommodations for four. The 28 is a traditional- looking boat with a hint of Downeast styling, and her foam-cored hull boasts a prop-protecting skeg for increased tracking and stability. While the centerline engine box dominates the cockpit (standard power is a single V-drive inboard), there's still enough working space for a couple of undemanding anglers. A hardtop (optional) with sliding side windows provides weather protection for the helm, and a drop curtain encloses it completely.
