With only 390 original hours - this 280 has been lightly used but nicely cared by its owner! This power package delivers an approximate 25 knot cruise and 30 knot top speed cutting through with it's 24 degree deadrise hull.
Engine Access: Helm Deck Lift Instead of tight, awkward floor hatches, the 280 Express utilizes an entire lifting bridge deck floor., The entire molded bridge deck (incorporating the helm and companion seating) lifts up effortlessly. It uses heavy-duty, gas-assist spring shocks that lift the heavy deck with mechanical leverage. Once fully open, it exposes the entire engine bay from above. This provides exceptional, walk-around room to service the front pulleys, alternators, water pumps, and fuel filters of both MerCruiser 350 Mags. For quick fluid checks (oil dipsticks and coolant levels) before an outing, you do not need to lift the whole deck; Albemarle built in smaller, independent day-hatches right under the seating.
