Razzmatazz is a brilliant boat to sail - fast, responsive, balanced - and is surprisingly comfortable for a fast, light boat also, which is a great aspect of narrow beam. She was designed as a race boat that could be cruised, and the seller thinks they hit the mark perfectly. She isn't designed to any rule, and is definitely influenced by Scandinavian designs: narrow, deep, high ballast ratio, fractional rig.
The owner has upgraded or replaced most of her systems in my quest for worry-free sailing, and Ihe finds her extremely easy to live with as a result. She is well equipped for both racing and cruising - He started out planning to cruise, then discovered how much fun racing was, and with Covid have re-focused on cruising again without forgetting about racing - so all systems have had attention paid to them.
Her interior is all teak and laid out for comfort and a feeling of space without compromising handholds for getting around underway. She is cozy and inviting, a great place to spend time on a rainy day or overnight on passage. She has 4 great sea berths, a spacious v-berth, and even the potential to sleep 2 more on raised berths in the saloon if you should ever want them. There is sufficient storage, and the galley is effective, with a 3-burner stove with oven. She really is a great blend of wonderful to sail and comfortable to live on.
