The Albin 31 Tournament Express is geared toward the avid angler as well as the cruising enthusiast. This twin engine version is in good condition. The high visibility, airy wheelhouse with individual captain's seat and bench seating for three crew members also includes a unit incorporating a refrigerator, a sink with hot and cold water, a chopping board, and ample tackle and storage drawers. The extra large cockpit with its oversized fish boxes, sliding transom door, rod storage, oversized recirculating live baitwell and salt water washdown is a sporfisherman's dream. The dinette converts to a queen sized berth, while aft of the galley is a double berth, together providing comfortable sleeping for four adults. The forward area also has an enclosed private head and shower. The standard galley includes a microwave, a toaster oven, a stove, an AC-DC refrigerator and a sink with hot and cold water.
Stepping onto the large-for-its-size swim deck, you enter the cockpit through the transom door located on the port side. The cockpit is fully bolstered. Rod holders are under the gunwales. A storage and tackle box is nestled in the starboard corner of the cockpit. Entering into the salon/pilothouse through outward opening double doors is a large bench seat to port. To starboard is a sink and prep station with a NorCold refrigerator and storage below. Just forward of that is the helm chair. Large windows allow for great natural light, slide open for ventilation, and good visibility while piloting the boat. Continuing forward through the boat, three steps down, is the cabin. Off to the port side is another NorCold refrigerator, sink, GE microwave and a Force 10 two-burner stove with plenty of storage. There is a quarter berth underneath the helm station. Looking forward is a large V-berth that converts into a dining area as well. To the starboard side of the boat is the head, which is equipped with a stall shower electric flush marine head and freshwater sink.
