Tiara Yachts has been building boats out of Holland, Michigan since 1976, when Leon Slikkers launched the brand as the powerboat division of S2 Yachts. Nearly five decades later, Tiara still has a reputation for tight fit and finish and boats that hold up to real Great Lakes use, which is exactly the kind of build quality you feel stepping aboard this one.
This 3600 Convertible shares its hull with the 3600 Open, a proven offshore design with cored hullsides and a wide beam that makes for a stable, comfortable ride. She's set up with the single stateroom layout, forward berth plus a dinette that converts to additional sleeping space, a salon with a comfortable couch, and one head with a stall shower. Power comes from twin big block 7.4L Crusader 454 gas engines putting out 350hp each, run off an upper and lower helm setup, with an onboard generator for auxiliary power at anchor or dockside.
