This rare Tadorne 26, "Pepper" has graceful lines that evoke the daysailers of yesteryear and this beautifully balanced sloop rig provides sprightly performance. Built by Latitude 46 in La Rochelle, France, she follows their excellence in yacht building. Teak and mahogany are used above and below, meticulously crafted to a cored deck and stiff fiberglass hull. Traditional fittings are complemented by modern running gear and roller furling, making Tadorne a swift and safe vessel that will turn heads under sail or at anchor. Salon provides enough room for overnight and day sails. The Swing Keel offers a shallow 1' -7" draft when retracted, allowing for shallow mooring and beaching possibilities and a full 3' - 7" keel provides stability for full performance under sail.
"Pepper" can comfortably accommodate up to six people on board. Her self-draining cockpit is wide and spacious. No need to leave the cockpit to maneuver - sheets, halyards, reefing, engine controls and jib roller are all within reach of the cockpit.
Under the coach roof, the cabin is inviting and "cozy". The bunks on either side are long enough to sleep tall crew members and are comfortably cushioned, covered with new Sunbrella fabric. There is a stove built into a shelf to port and a stainless steel sink with pressurized water to starboard. Underneath the forward bunk is a marine toilet with a holding tank. Ample storage is offered below the seating.
