The Aspen C100 power catamaran, designed and built by Larry Graf, features an innovative asymmetric "proa" hull, powered by a single engine for exceptional fuel efficiency while providing a smooth, quiet ride in heavy seas and a spacious layout, with a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum hull speed of 22 knots. Bow and stern thrusters provide maneuverability, allowing the 10' beam, trailerable cruiser to easily fit in a regular slip.
Built to exacting standards, creative design, innovative engineering, careful craftsmanship, quality materials and commitment to efficiency, excellence is evident throughout. Besides the novel hull design, space is well utilized for pleasure, touring, entertaining, fishing, enjoying weekend getaways or offshore excursions with a range of about 225 miles at 16 knots.
The salon is a light filled, inviting and comfortable indoor-outdoor space that is also securable, with a large split windshield, sliding cabin windows, operable hatches and seamless transition from cabin to cockpit through a framed lockable glass cabin door that opens seamlessly with a large awning window that spans the cabin back.
The cabin contains a dinette that seats four and converts to a double berth, a galley with a propane stove, oven, refrigerator, large drawers for kitchen utensils, storage cabinets and a quarter-berth beneath the galley. Below deck there is easy access to the electronics, a king size forward berth, and a separate enclosed head with shower.
Open layout flows from the cabin to a spacious cockpit that features burnished wood dining table and detachable back wall bar table with cushioned hinge-able bar stool seats, 96-quart Igloo cooler with a large cushioned seat, a second refrigerator, sink, fish locker and generous stowage in port and starboard lazarettes.
Designed for sharing good times with a Jensen sound system, Wallas heater, updated Garmin electronics and all the amenities Aspen could fit.
