Ok, so this 1996 Fountain 31TE was brought to us in late May to list. We did our normal engine and 12V evals, compression, etc (which went fairly well), but when we went to sea trial her, her twin 2004 twin Mercury 225 Optimax's were acting up. Given this new information, the owner has decided to sell her "as-is" with the motor requiring some work. The ideal buyer would have a quality 2-stroke technician/Mercury contact that can get these engines running properly. The boat was ran 30 miles offshore last September with no issues. The boat was again successfully sea trialed in October.
The boat/hull, as well as the T-top, seem to be ROCK solid. The Garmin units have been upgraded recently, so a nice bonus there. We'll let the pics do the rest of the talking, but feel free to call to discuss our evals, compression report, etc. We are overly transparent and strongly believe someone is gonna walk away with a nice offshore 30 footer.
