Recent updates include: Standing and Running Rigging (2017), Evoloution Sails (2019) fully battened Main sail,Genoa, Staysail, Asymmetrical, a Beta Marine 42 HP diesel auxiliary motor and fuel tank (2016), and B & G marine Electronics, Awlgrip decks and topsides.
Aerial was designed by L. F. Herreshoff naval architect, built by the renown O. Lie-Neilsen yard Rockland Maine that has built a number of classic sailing cold molded hulls such as White Hawk. She is outfitted with carbon fiber mast and boom, total of 8 winches four are electric, main sheet, genoa/staysail sheet winches port and starboard, main halyard/ Profurl/vang winch on top of cabin, electric Selden Furlex on the genoa(300E), and staysail (200E), Profurl on the main carbon fiber boom with manual backup, 4 KW Fisher Panda diesel generator, 12000 BTU air conditioning, Dicken/cn cabin heater, Force 10 galley propane stove and oven.
A double forward V berth and hanging locker with storage compartments. Next aft to port is a head between the main salon and V berth. Opposite the head is a large hanging locker with the generator inside, there are straight settees in the main salon to port and starboard. Aft port is the galley to starboard navigation station up to one of the largest cockpits with teak coaming boards and tiller steering.
She is meticulously maintained by it owners at the Dutch Wharf Boat Yard, Branford, CT where she is presently at her berth. Shown by appointment
