Grand Craft Boats of Holland Michigan was founded in 1979 by a group of former Chris Craft employees whose dream was to continue building wood boats based on many of Chris Craft's most popular designs from a few different eras. They were experienced wood boat builders and opened their doors very near where they had worked many years prior. Most of Grand Craft's boats were based on the double and triple cockpit boat designs from the 1920s-to the 1940s but they did build some designs from later eras as well. This 20' Sport Runabout is loosley based on the mid-late 1960s designs and the bow is a bit of a nod to the Continental and Super Sport of the late '60s. in 1985 the first hull of this design was built for the current owners who have lovingly cared for this boat during their ownership, they even sent her back to Grand Craft once during their ownership to have her completely refinished.After 41 years, the owners have decided it is time to pass this beautiful runabout on to another family who can love and enjoy the beauty and craftmanship of this Grand Craft.Power is provided by a Chrysler 5.2 liter/240 Hp inboard with under 400 hours of use and features include: all mahogany hull construction, (4) chrome framed boarding steps, chrome deck vents, chrome fender cleats, chrome bow and stern lifting rings/docking cleats with chrome dock line chocks, plush vinyl upholstery, carpeted cockpit floor, mahogany steering wheel, glove box, mahagony flag pole with flag, full cover, and tandem axle trailer.
