Emphasis was placed on acoustic insulation to mitigate typical metal boat noise in the interior living spaces. Lightweight cored panels were used to reduce weight in the forward cabin and overhead throughout the interior. Interior cabinets, galley module, and related components were built in the joiner shop, then fitted and assembled after the installation of the engine, jet, and major machinery by metal fabricators and mechanics. Local sea trials on Narragansett Bay, followed by further offshore trials around coastal Rhode Island, confirmed the boat's capabilities. Although aluminum sport fish/cruisers are uncommon in New England, this vessel attracts considerable attention both at the dock and on the water.
