Designed by the legendary Carl Alberg, the Cape Dory 33 is a traditional full keel cruising boat achieving a level of luxury, safety and sail handling ease. She's stiff and stable when it blows, but is considered to be an all-weather performer - quick in light air too. Cape Dory's are custom finished to the highest standards with a level of integrity and boat building excellence. Bronze cleats, opening ports & deck hardware accentuate her traditional elegance which sets her apart from many other yacht designs. The 33 carries a generous amount of sail on a masthead sloop stepped at the keel. Her rigging is "oversized" to assure safety in all conditions. She has a large self-bailing cockpit with 2 large lockers, lazerette with wheel steering. Crafted teak & select hardwoods create a warm, spacious interior with an increased beam. Teak & holly sole. She's designed for maximum comfort and convenience and space utilization. Her living area is comfortable & includes a drop-leaf table flanked by two settee berths of which one extends to a double. Sleeps up to 6. To starboard of the companionway is a hanging wet locker, nav station and quarter berth. To port is the U-Shaped galley with generous work and & storage space, deep double sink, large ice box and gimballed 3-burner stove. A fully enclosed head features ample cabinets, a hamper, wash basin & a shower. The quality of every Cape Dory is carefully controlled throughout. The owner is downsizing & has owned this boat for 28 years. 2nd Owner.
