One of the most successful high-testosterone boats ever built by Sunseeker International (160 were sold, mostly in the U.K.), the slender deep-V hull of the Superhawk 34 promises the all-round performance of her racing heritage. The distinctive Superhawk lines are striking from all angles, an enormous styling compliment considering that she was introduced back in the late 1990s. Anyone considering the purchase of a 34 Superhawk does so in the knowledge that these boats are all about performance and open-air sex appeal. While the posh cockpit will accommodate eight in great comfort, the well-finished interior is short on elbow space as well as headroom. The small head is nearly worthless for showers; the galley is fine as long as you stick to sandwiches; and reaching the Superhawk's forward queen berth means climbing over the wraparound settee. On deck, there's a wet bar, swim shower, bathing platform, sun-lounger, and bow bathing cushions. A power engine hatch reveals a neat-but-tight engine room. That said, the Superhawk 34 is a terrific open-water performer that still outguns most competitors.
