I have to say that not very often do I get so excited about an older boat. After working with these sellers in the past their MO remains the same, they buy a nice boat and turn into something special. (Between you and me I think they went a bit over the top on this one but don't tell them I said that) This 39 DC Marinette has been totally gone thru and updated to a near new standard. Everything from tanks to refrigeration has been replaced, there is not a lot left to do for a new owner. The boat is clean and ready to go. Why not. Come take a look.

Good Stability: The hull design offers great stability in various water conditions, making it suitable for both inland cruising and coastal adventures.
Diesel Engine Efficiency: Typically equipped with reliable diesel engines, the Marinette 39 delivers better fuel efficiency and longevity compared to gasoline options, reducing overall operational costs.

Affordability: As a classic model, the Marinette 39 tends to be competitively priced in the market, offering good value for those looking for a sturdy, live-aboard cruiser.
Cons
Age-Related Wear: Being a 1985 model, some vessels may show signs of age, requiring updates or repairs, including potential refinishing and mechanical servicing.
Limited Speed: While designed for cruising, the top speed might not satisfy those looking for high-performance characteristics; it’s more suited for leisurely travel.
Resale Value: Depending on market trends, the resale value may not appreciate significantly, which could be a disadvantage for those looking to invest.
Outdated Technology: Some features and systems may be outdated compared to newer vessels, requiring upgrades to keep up with current marine technology and conveniences.
