The Beneteau First 345 has an exceptionally roomy layout. There is a large V-berth forward with a large hanging locker to port, plenty of shelf space, and full length storage lockers to starboard. Storage compartments under berths. 12 volt reading light above each berth. Going aft through the privacy door, you enter the main cabin. There is a centerline table with fold up leafs that provides dining for 6. In the center of the table, there is a compartment for bottle storage. Large settees, port and starboard, with abundant storage behind and shelves above out-board. There is a large and complete nav. station to starboard, following aft is a private cabin with double berth, hanging locker, reading lights and two opening ports for ventilation.
The good size galley is to port and features a two-burner Electrolux propane stove with oven, refrigeration, a double SS sink with hot and cold pressure water. The hot water is either engine or electric. There is a Nova gas control solenoid shutoff switch located at the Nav. station. There is storage for dishes, utensils and dry goods. The head is aft to port with vanity and hanging wet locker, and feature a hot and cols pressure shower.

Equipped for both fast cruising and racing with stainless wire standing rigging, Navtec hydraulic backstay adjuster, baby stay and running back stays, Hal QuickVang. Both the traveler and the genoa cars have multiple adjustment points and can be adjusted under load. Harken roller-furling system. There are double spreaders and the mast rig is keel stepped. There is a spinnaker pole, and all spinnaker lines lead aft except the mast pole height adjustment. There are three internal reef lines, and outhaul in the boom. Primary winches are Lewmar 43 self-tailing and there are four secondary Lewmar winches two 43, and two 24.
