Set sail for an island weekend or cruise the coast on your own Mirage. This Mirage 29 is an impressive masthead sloop rig, and it is available for sale in North Florida!
The Mirage is a beautifully designed coastal cruiser that is fit for a single sailor or a good-sized crew. With cockpit winches, sheet roller cars for the headsail, a cabin top traveler, and all lines leading aft, you can captain the Mirage from the cockpit.
This one has two sets of main and genoa sails. The newer set is about two years old and has never been used. A spinnaker is also included.
The cabin of the Mirage is about as spacious as the fortunate occupants will find on a 29' sailboat. Sleeping is provisioned for two in the aft berth, two in the forward V-berth, and one each in the salon settees. With a well-equipped galley, nav table, and a private head, this Mirage is ready for cruising!
The ship is powered by a Volvo Penta Model 2002 diesel engine for efficient motoring when needed. Topping off the diesel tank only once or twice a year is an often-cited advantage of an efficient 2002 diesel.
The owner uses a hatch-installed AC unit to keep the cabin cool and dry at the dock. It is easily removed when the boat is headed out sailing. See photos.
