The 1D 35 is probably the most economical line-honours boat in most club racing fleets. Anthem has been highly successful in club racing as well as double-handed distance racing. Conscientious owners had deck rebuilt in 2007 and hull faired in 2008, so she has a clean bill of health and is optimized. Hall Spars carbon mast and spinnaker pole, full-width traveller aft on floor, jib in-haulers, hydraulic forestay adjuster, big-roach main with no backstay, huge cockpit, great Ockam instrument package with quad mast mount. 3 new Quantum sails in '08. Interior cushions and cabin lights. Not a cruiser, but certainly spacious & comfy enough for weekending.
Wintered indoors through 2009-2010.
