Located in Deltaville, Virginia, this 45-foot used Morgan 452 Ketch is a well-regarded bluewater cruising sailboat, known for its moderate weight and excellent righting capability. It is a 45' masthead ketch designed by Henry Scheel and built in fiberglass by Morgan Yachts.
The Morgan has bow and stern thrusters, hydraulic steering, extra sails, staysail with sock cover. hard top with Isinglass side and aft curtains which can be switched out for screens.
Head out confidently onto the water with a freshwater cooled 70 HP turbo charged Beta Marine 70T engine installed in 2023, in case you need help getting home. And with only 20 hours, you will have the peace of mind that comes with a Beta.
Generator also replaced in 2023.
There are a 40-pound Danforth and 40-pound CQR plow style anchor with chain rode.
The 452 Ketch has lots of space and has the amenities necessary for cruising by a couple or small family. With ample room to sleep 8 comfortably, spend the night aboard your Morgan sailboat at your favorite waterfront spot.
The forward head is not currently in working order (needs a new pump) and owner is using it as storage.
