A 70-footer designed by Igor Lobanov to behave more like a hypercar than a yacht, and the first model of a new brand built to Overmarine standards.
A new brand, not a new model
ICONA is a newly established company founded by the Balducci family and Stefano Arlunno, making its debut with the ICONA 70 and building to Overmarine Group standards. Mangusta says it is not an evolution of an existing platform but a new category, a new language and a new movement.
A moving sculpture
Igor Lobanov, already familiar with the Mangusta REV design language, developed the exterior, interior, ergonomics and helm as one project over about eighteen months. The hull sides stay uninterrupted, and a 3D-printed honeycomb engine air intake gives what Mangusta calls a technical signature inspired by the automotive world.

A windscreen with no pillars
The dark glazed superstructure disappears beneath a tapered hardtop, and the forward windshield is built without conventional pillars. From some angles, Mangusta says, the 70 looks less like a yacht than a 1960s roadster suspended above the sea.
Light as a material
On the lower deck a central living area with large skylights forms what Mangusta calls a floating architectural glass dome connecting sea and sky. Interior height reaches 2.85 metres (9 ft 5 in) within a 6.2-metre (20 ft 5 in) central beam, and the full-beam master has an open bathroom.
